I am proud of myself because...

I am NOT a quitter! 

I have been able to not only graduate from the Adult Education Center but have gone on to earn my BA from Southern University in New Orleans, or SUNO.  I worked full time and went to school full time while raising two beautiful kids.  While attending SUNO, and despite having to work and raise my kids, I made the Dean’s list and represented the school at the Louisiana Historical Society and the National Historical Society in New York.

I am currently an Avon representative along with my husband.  We have won numerous awards while helping others to obtain their goals. 

I will eternally be grateful to Mrs. Geoffray for believing in me and giving me the confidence to reach for higher goals in my life.
