Party with a Purpose Brings on Generous Smiles!
We want to share a special WVUE television clip from our recent luncheon at the iconic Dooky Chase's restaurant with you! The event was held to celebrate the fifth year of our organization, the 431 Exchange, and to celebrate the achievements of our amazing Scholarship Winners.
We also honored the groundbreaking work of Dr. Alice R. Geoffray, the Adult Education Center faculty and its astounding Board Members, who – together – achieved the integration of New Orleans’ corporate and business worlds through the 431 amazing graduates of its secretarial curriculum, from 1965 to 1972.
Our Party with a Purpose at Dooky Chase’s had a delightful atmosphere and was truly enchanting! We enjoyed a meal with old and new friends, including five of our scholars. We're so grateful for all the donations to our Scholarship Fund, which allows us to continue changing lives and providing educational opportunities in Louisiana. If you couldn’t make it to our Party at Dooky Chase’s, you can still help us with a donation to the Scholarship Fund, as scholarship applicants committed to developing a career are hungry for our help!
